1. Overview

This Shipping & Freight Policy explains how orders from Dirt Life Power Sports are prepared, shipped, and delivered. Because we sell vehicles as well as parts and accessories, shipping arrangements vary depending on the type and size of the item.

2. Vehicle Freight

Vehicles such as ATVs and quads are large, heavy items that are shipped by freight carrier rather than standard parcel post. Depending on the vehicle and destination, shipment may involve crating, pallet handling, or specialized vehicle transport.

Freight delivery typically requires coordination with the carrier for scheduling. You are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the vehicle at the delivery address and that the location is accessible to the carrier’s equipment.

3. Parts and Accessories

Smaller items such as parts, components, and accessories are shipped by standard carriers. These items are packaged appropriately for their size and weight and shipped to the address provided at checkout.

4. Shipping Costs and Timelines

Shipping and freight costs depend on the item, its size and weight, and the delivery destination. Applicable shipping or freight charges are shown at checkout or confirmed before your order is finalized.

Delivery timelines depend on the carrier, the destination, and the type of shipment. Freight shipments generally take longer to arrange and deliver than standard parcel shipments. Any estimated timelines provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

5. Delivery and Inspection

You are responsible for inspecting your shipment at the time of delivery. If a vehicle or item arrives with visible damage, note the damage on the carrier’s delivery documentation before signing and contact us as soon as possible. Documenting transit damage at the time of delivery is important for resolving any claim with the carrier.

6. Risk of Loss

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, risk of loss passes to you upon delivery of the item. Please refer to our Terms of Sale for full details.

7. Title and Documentation

For vehicle shipments, ownership and sale documentation accompanies or follows the vehicle as appropriate. Titling and registration are addressed in our Titling & Registration information. Buyers outside Pennsylvania are responsible for titling and registering the vehicle in their own state or jurisdiction.

8. Delivery Address

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delays or additional charges resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided at the time of order.

9. Delays Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
